REGENT THEATRE TO OPEN ITS DOORS AS PART OF HERITAGE OPEN DAYS
Did someone say free fun for all the family?We’re joining Heritage Open Days and throwing open the Regent Theatre doors on Saturday 14 September for a day bursting with activities!
From backstage tours to an exciting variety of theatre-based workshops – there is something for everyone to get involved with throughout the day. All activities are free but must be booked in advance through the website atgtickets.com/stoke.

BACKSTAGE TOURS
Join us on a magical journey through history at the Regent Theatre on our backstage tours, as our knowledgeable guides provide a unique insight into the venue’s transition from a 1920s super cinema to becoming one of Staffordshire’s largest entertainment venues.

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP INSPIRED BY CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG
Do you love musical theatre? This free workshop will have the whole family exploring some of your favourite scenes, songs and routines inspired by the much-loved family favourite, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
This masterclass is for young performers aged 6+ and is open to all abilities.
Times: 10am, 1pmDuration: 50 minutes Age guidance: Ages 6+
DANCE MASTERCLASS INSPIRED BY & JULIET
Led by industry professionals, this Masterclass is a chance to learn choreography inspired by the smash hit and develop your dancing skills whilst exploring the themes of this hilarious new musical!
This masterclass is for young performers aged 11+ and is open to all abilities.

POETRY WORKSHOPS
Draw inspiration from the backdrop of one of Staffordshire’s largest entertainment venues and find your voice as Natalie Linh Bolderston helps you explore different styles using the power of words to structure your very own poem!
Writers over 12 years & adults and of all experience levels are welcome.

WRITE YOUR OWN MUSICAL WORKSHOPS
Whether you’re a budding lyricist, or simply want to have a go at developing your own musical or song, this workshop is for you! Join actor, writer and musician, Cameron Lythgoe, for this unique musical masterclass! Explore writing lyrics, get those creative juices flowing to come up with songs and find a story within the music!
