SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS IN NEW CAMPAIGN

Staffordshire’s official tourist board is launching a new online campaign to celebrate the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Enjoy Staffordshire has organised the #LoveStaffsMoorlands promotion to coincide with the anniversary of the Peak District being designated as the UK’s first National Park, on 17th April 1951.

It will run for a week, from 17th-23rd April,and feature a photography competition, with voucher for Madrenaline up for grabs!

To enter, all you have to do is share your images of the Staffordshire Moorlands district on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, with the hashtag #LoveStaffsMoorlands, before 5pm on 23rd April.

Philip White, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member with responsibility for tourism at Staffordshire County Council, said: “Staffordshire is a wonderful county with amazing people and stunning locations, we are attraction central, and a great county to visit and stay in.

“Staffordshire Moorlands includes part of the Peak District which celebrates its anniversary as a national park this month. With the Manifold Valley and The Roaches in the National Park, and the Churnet Valley in the district too, it’s one of the most picturesque locations in the county.

“It is also home to the Alton Towers Resort, Peak Wildlife Park and Churnet Valley Railway, supported by a great range of accommodation providers, restaurants, cafes and retailers, all going the extra mile to give visitors a wonderful experience.

“Our latest tourism campaign and photography competition is a great way of showcasing the area to a wider audience and help attract even more visitors. I would urge people to get snapping and submit their photos and help us share our love for Staffordshire Moorlands.”

Alongside the competition, EnjoyStaffordshire.com will feature content on things to do in the district, and a social media campaign using the #LoveStaffsMoorlands hashtag will promote what makes the Staffordshire Moorlands great.
