Staffordshire firms honoured in Queen’s Awards for Enterprise

Five Staffordshire companies have been recognised for their contribution to business in the 2022 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

The awards recognise outstanding achievement by UK businesses, charities and public bodies, with awards being made for innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

The Staffordshire firms winning awards include:

  • Biocomposites, Keele, won two awards, innovation and international trade

  • Longvale Ltd, Burton Upon Trent, award for international trade

  • Top Online Partners Group, Stafford, award for international trade

  • The Wool Packing Company, Stone, award for sustainable development

  • Collaborate and Innovate Ltd, Tutbury, award for sustainable development

David Gage MBE DL, Staffordshire Deputy Lieutenant and Panel Champion for Business and Enterprise said “Once again Staffordshire has proven to be an enterprising and truly competitive county. I offer my congratulations to all our winners. The bar for being awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise is set extremely high given that this is a UK-wide award and the most prestigious award for UK organisations.”

Alan White, Leader at Staffordshire County Council added: “I would like to congratulate all our Staffordshire winning companies who have excelled in gaining this prestigious award. These are always very competitively fought awards and the companies should be very proud of their achievements”

The companies will receive their awards later this year from the Staffordshire Lieutenancy office on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen.
