STOKE ANNOUNCE PRE-SEASON FIXTURES
The Potters will step up their preparations for the 24/25 Championship campaign during a week-long training camp in Cork.
City head to Ireland on Saturday, July 13, with Steven Schumacher’s first team set to be joined by the Potters’ Under-21s for the camp on the Emerald Isle.
City’s players return to Clayton Wood on Monday, July 1, and will commence their pre-season fixture programme at Chester FC on Thursday, July 11 (7.45pm kick-off).
The Potters then face Cork City midway through their training camp on Wednesday, July 17, returning to the UK the following weekend. Kick-off for the clash at Turners Cross will be confirmed following the draw for the FAI Cup on Thursday, when the hosts discover their second round opponents.
A short trip to South Cheshire will follow for Schumacher’s side as City’s Head Coach returns to Crewe Alexandra, where he made 81 appearances as a player between 2007 and 2010, on Tuesday, July 23 (7.30pm).
The Potters then face 23/24 League Two winners Stockport County on Saturday, July 27, with the Edgeley Park encounter to be played over two 60-minute halves and kick-off at 2pm.
City’s penultimate pre-season fixture is also in Greater Manchester as Schumacher’s side face League One side Bolton Wanderers at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Tuesday, July 30 (7.30pm kick-off).
The Potters will conclude their pre-season programme at the bet365 Stadium on the weekend of Saturday, August 3, with further details on City’s return to ST4 to follow in due course.
