STOKE CITY 2024-25 FIXTURES RELEASED
STOKE City will face two Midlands rivals at the bet365 Stadium in the opening fortnight of the 24/25 Championship campaign.
The Potters host Coventry City when the new season starts in just over six weeks’ time on the weekend of Saturday, August 10 (12.30pm kick-off), before a trip to Watford (Saturday, August 17) for the first away day of the campaign precedes West Bromwich Albion’s visit to ST4 on Saturday, August 24.
Head Coach Steven Schumacher will then return to former club Plymouth Argyle in City’s final fixture of the opening month at Home Park on Saturday, August 31.
The Potters’ first-ever trip to the Kassam Stadium follows the season’s maiden international break on the weekend of Saturday, September 14, while a first visit to Portsmouth since 2010 falls on Wednesday, January 22.
Meanwhile, City face a couple of Christmas crackers at the bet365 Stadium, including a first Boxing Day battle in ST4 in five years when Leeds United visit the Potteries. Three days later, Sunderland’s visit will conclude the calendar year for Schumacher’s side.
2025 will commence with a trip to Burnley on New Year’s Day before City’s Easter programme includes Sheffield Wednesday’s visit to the bet365 Stadium on Good Friday and a return fixture with Leeds United at Elland Road on Easter Monday.
The Potters’ 24/25 home campaign will finish against Sheffield United on the season’s penultimate weekend before the short trip across the A50 to Derby County will bring the curtain down on the regular season on Saturday, May 3.
Fixtures are subject to change and, during the next week, TV selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played before the end of September.
Any alterations to City’s schedule will be communicated at the earliest opportunity via the Club’s official channels.
Before the campaign commences on the weekend of Saturday, 10 August, further TV selections will also be made in respect of all matches scheduled to be played prior to the end of the third round of the FA Cup in January.
