Support Staffordshire Volunteer star awards- Staffordshire Moorlands

Last Wednesday night Support Staffordshire and volunteers came together to celebrate volunteering in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The even was Hosted by Churnet Sound at Westwood golf club in Leek, Who were the events main sponsors. Commendations and winners were announced for various categories in the awards. The awards celebrated volunteers from across the Staffordshire Moorlands and recognised a range of groups, organisations, charities and volunteers.

Trustee of the year award - Sponsored by Scrivens opticians and hearing care

First commendation - Bill Taylor for his voluntary work with Borderland

Voices Winner - Mike Plant for his voluntary work in the community of Cheadle, Staffordshire.


Volunteer team of the year award- Sponsored by Nixon Reeves
