TENSE FINAL DAY AT EDGBASTON IN FIRST ASHES TEST

It’s going to be tense on the final day of the first test in the Ashes today at Edgbaston with the firzst test hanging in the balance.


England declared at 393 for 8 in the first innings while Australia struck back as they gained 386 all out.


The second innings saw England hit 273 all out before the Aussies went into bat and the lions took 3 wickets early on and at the close of play Australia are currently 107 for 3 needing 174 runs to take victory with the home side needing to bowl the visitors seven wickets out to take victory and that is also providing the weather does not interfere in proceedings also.


Play should resume at 11am on Tuesday morning.
