THE IPSTONES AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY 70TH ANNUAL SHOW SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST 2022

Our roving reporters were in Ipstones today for the above show. The weather was lovely with plenty of sunshine which added to the day.  The show was buzzing with people enjoying the  entertainment going on during the day along with the gymkhana, heavy horses, cattle, sheep and goats competitions and a dog show. The National Search and Rescue dogs, Staffordshire Hunt and Hounds, and Bob Hogg’s Lamb National all did displays in the Ring beside a marquee and the village hall full of  crafts stalls etc., also marquee full of horticulture for visitors and a Poultry (Egg) and Pet Section to see, Owl display and wood sculptor. In the next field there was a display of steam engines and approximately 100 classic vehicles and tractors to look around.
