Training exercise at Port Vale Football Club

We wanted to make you aware that we are working with other emergency services and agencies from the Staffordshire Resilience Forum, in a training exercise on Thursday (18 May)at Port Vale Football Club.

There is nothing to worry about, exercises like this are regularly held throughout the country to test our response to a major incident.

We’ve informed local residents and businesses and have made every effort to keep disruption to a minimum, any roads or parking restrictions will be clearly signposted near to the exercise site.

Members of the public will not be involved and exercise areas will be tightly controlled.

It will be business as usual for our local police and partners, who are aware of the exercise, and our communities will still receive the same level of service.

The training exercise will begin at 10am and last until around 12 noon.
