Tribute act rocks Congleton Town Hall

Congleton Town Hall was bouncing as the World’s Number One Take That Tribute act played to a sold out audience. ‘Rule the World’ belted out all of Take That’s greatest hits, and fans were not disappointed! The atmosphere was electric, a night which partygoers will ‘Never Forget’.

Rachel McCarthy, Congleton Town Council’s Town Centre and Events Officer said: “Building on the success of our first tribute event we have plans to bring more party nights to Congleton. The evening was a sell-out and we’ve received amazing feedback and requests for more acts to perform in the Town Hall. The Grand Hall is the ideal venue for large concerts and it looked amazing on the night setting the atmosphere with the feature lighting. ‘Rule the World’ were the perfect band to launch our tribute series, they raised the roof. Congleton certainly knows how to party! The audience erupted singing along to all their favourite songs. The encore ‘Never Forget’ was met with applause and everybody up on their feet dancing. Thank you to everyone who came andbought a ticket, you were a fantastic audience.”

Next on the bill at the Town Hall is a night of 80s music on Friday 1 December. Presented by Congleton Town Council, tickets are on sale for Electromantics’ the UK’s Premier 1980s Electronica / New Wave tribute band with Robotic Dancer – Manochrome.
