UHNM Charity teams up with local businesses in £10,000 kitchen competition

UHNM Charity is giving its staff, patients and members of the public the chance to win a dream kitchen makeover worth £10,000 this festive season.

The charity has teamed up with WDPS Stoke, LD Property, Tile Central UK, Howdens Joinery, SMART Electrical and DC Plumbing to make it a Christmas to remember for one lucky winner.

The fundraising competition, which costs £1 to enter via text message, will see 100 per cent of the proceeds go towards UHNM Charity, helping to improve patient care and experience at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM).

Lisa Thomson, Director of Communications and Charity at UHNM said: “We’re delighted and grateful that our charity partners have very kindly donated this prize of a £10,000 voucher towards somebody’s next kitchen.

“For a one pound text message our staff, patients and member of the public can make this an unforgettable Christmas. The best part is every penny raised from this competition will help UHNM Charity to further improve the patient care and experience at Royal Stoke and County Hospital in Stafford.”

This is the second festive giveaway from UHNM Charity. In 2021 UHNM staff member Lorraine Kearns from Porthill became the proud owner of a £5,000 bathroom courtesy of Tile Central UK.

They are a brilliant local charity who do so much to improve the care and experience of local people and to be involved with them is very rewarding.”
