STOKE City lost their first home match of the season at the Bet365 Stadium when Preston North End took all three points on offer.

Port Vale continued the pressure and were rewarded in the ninth minute of time added on as Devine scored a penalty to give the Valiants all three points. Attendance: 8,835.


CREWE Alexandra took all three points in their league two encounter with MK Dons at the Mornflake Stadium.


The railwaymen went behind early on with a goal from Leko on 8 minutes and that's the way in stayed until half-time with the visitors leading at the break 0-1.


The Alex kicked into gear in the second half as Thomas netted for the home side to level the scores on 62 minutes, the Alex continued to pressurise the visitors and Baker-Richardson scored on 69 minutes to put Crewe 2-1 up. Crewe sealed the points on 90 minutes as Long netted to give the Alex a 3-1 victory. Attendance: 3,927
