VIDIGAL NOMINATED FOR AWARD

The Portuguese winger has been in sparkling form since his summer arrival from Maritimo netting three times in the Potters’ four Championship fixtures.

The 25-year-old opened his City account on the opening weekend of the Championship season with a brace against Rotherham United at the bet365 Stadium.

After netting the all-important goal against West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup, Vidigal’s stunning strike in front of the Boothen End against Watford on August 19 was enough for another three points for the Potters.

Vidigal is up against Sam Morsy of Ipswich Town, Gabriel Sara of Norwich City and Ozan Tufan of Hull City with the winner set to be announced at 6am tomorrow.
