YOUNG JOINS ALSAGER BACKROOM STAFF

ALSAGER TOWN have added to their backroom staff at Wood Park with experienced goalkeeper coach Anthony Young. The new season sees Ant start his 37th consecutive season coaching.

During the many years his journey took him to Middlewich Town reserves who won the league unbeaten during that season winning their first trophy in 15 years. Ant was asked to step up to Middlewich first team where he formed part of a strong back room team.

Following a successful spell he was approached to join Winsford United where his fifth game saw a huge impact with a cup final win. Ant remained with Lee's back room team for a number of years and now joins us at Alsager Town for the coming season.

Ducks is delighted to see Ant at Wood Park and said: "Ant has been with me for a number of years now and is a guy I trust with anything. He was a breath of fresh air when he came in and continues to help guide the keepers as we look to progress. He continues to be an excellent coach."
