Community Health & Wellbeing Fayre is back after 2 years!

The Congleton Community Health and Wellbeing Fayre is delighted to be back after two years of being cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Congleton Town Hall is the place to be on the 29th March, completely free to attend, drop-in between 10 am and 2 pm.

There are 40 exhibitors at the Fayre bringing together the best the community has to offer. We have goody bags, raffle prizes and there is also a cup of tea and a slice of cake from the Old Saw Mill! Come along and see what your community can offer to ensure a happy, healthy life!

The Congleton Lions and Congleton Partnership have organised 3 defibrillator training workshops with Northwest Ambulance Service (NWAS) Community Resuscitation Team.

Workshop times will be 10:15 am, 11:30 am and 12:45 pm.

The opportunity to handle a defib up close to see what it looks like and how it works and to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the CPR dummy will give you the skills and confidence to help a person in the unfortunate event of cardiac arrest.

The Congleton Library team will also be running a selection of their workshops and the wonderful work they do, including:

10 am - Come and view old maps and photos of Congleton as well as chat with us about eBooks and eMagazines.

11 am - Feel good sing a long session with guitar ‘Good Vibrations’.

12 pm - ‘Story & Tea’ (for adults) listening to short story readings and poems.

1pm - ‘Crafternoon’ crafts (for adults).

Any questions or if you would like any more information please contact Cathy Dean on cathy.dean@congleton-tc.gov.uk
