Free dog microchipping

Macclesfield Police report thast as part of #VolunteersWeek 2021, we will be at Handforth Dean Shopping Centre this Saturday (5th June) from 11:00 until 16:00 where Cheshire Police Special Constabulary will be working with a local vet to offer free microchipping in exchange for donations to a local food bank.

You can also bring your dog along to check that the microchip can be read, and we will be happy to answer any questions you have about responsible dog ownership, compulsory microchipping law and what you can do to keep your dog safe whilst protecting local wildlife and livestock when you’re out enjoying the countryside.
